The health and well-being of employees, and quite possibly that of a business, largely depends on an employer's awareness and compliance with various rules and regulations. These rules tend to be on a state or federal level, particularly those promulgated by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA). The ignorance of or failure to comply with regulations can have potentially disastrous results, both physically and financially.
