Ghana to privatise rail network

Ghana's Ministry of Ports and Railways is privatising the country's rail network in a bid to improve service levels and encourage both passengers and freight to switch from using the congested and poor quality road system. The Ghanaian Government is, therefore, offering 25-year build, operate and transfer concessions to private companies.
