While Singapore, Port Klang and Ho Chi Minh City all lost container traffic in H1 09, compared with the same period of 2008, Port Tanjung Pelapas (PTP) posted a net increase.rnSingapore, the world's largest box port recorded an 18% dip in volumes as both gateway and transhipment traffic slowed.rnHowever, its arch rival PTP saw a slight increase, with traffic up 1.5% to 2.8 million TEU. Partly this reflected it securing CMA CGM as a new customer in May.
