The Transpacific Stabilization Agreement (TSA) has implemented an emergency revenue programme for the first half of 2010. It is required to obtain 'critically' needed revenue prior to the usual contracting season that begins in May 2010.rnTSA's statement said that with an estimated collective carrier loss of USD20 billion for 2009, lines cannot afford to carry current rates forward another six months until the new round of 2010/2011 contracts are signed.rnThe voluntary guideline emergency revenue charges (ERC) are: USD320 per 20ft, USD400 per standard 40ft, USD450 per high-cube FEU and USD505 per 45ft.
