Ocean carriers are improving transpacific services in readiness for this year's peak season despite freight rates continuing to fall.rnGrand Alliance (GA) members Hapag-Lloyd, NYK and OOCL have announced that their Japan China Express (JCX) service will be re-launched in mid-May encompassing the calls in Japan currently being made bv the South China Sea Express (SCX) loop, and adding Qingdao (currently called at by the CCX), as well as a Kwangyang eastbound call. No capacity indications have so far been released.
