The North P&l Club has produced a new loss prevention guide for watchkeepers on how to avoid collisions at sea. The publication follows critical industry comment after the fatal collision between the car carrier Baltic Ace and feeder vessel Con/us J last December, off the Dutch coast and suggestions that 'anarchy' was starting to creep back into shipping in the English Channel and North Sea.
