"Computation is a general term for any type of process, algorithm, or measurement," [1] and it is a process mainly related to digital data. When we talk about any type of computation, we mean a well-defined, algorithmic process. In computer science, "it investigates what can or cannot be done in a computational manner" [1]. This two-volume set is a useful collection of algorithms, data structures, and related theoretical issues. It combines practical applications and theoretical issues related to different types of computational problems. What makes it different from other similar books is that it focuses not only on theoretical issues, but also on practical algorithms, even if they are not asymptotically optimal.
