Comments on 'improving the speed of decimal division'

摘要

In `Improving the speed of decimal division?? [1] it is claimed that the proposed unit is ~46% faster than the unit of `A radix-10 digit-recurrence division unit: algorithm and architecture?? [2]. In this comment, we show that the evaluation done in [1] of the unit of [2] is based on wrong assumptions and the results of the comparison are erroneous.
