摘要

We're surprised this month's Advisee had the time to contact us at all. "I spend my time running around the dock," writes Prasanth Akundi, a graphic-design student, tae kwon do instructor, and "extreme metal" musician from Arlington, Texas. "When I'm not studying, I'm teaching. When I'm not teaching, I'm at band practice or screaming my lungs out on stage." Akundi's biggest requirement—26 hours in a day—the Advisor can't swing. But he also needs a handheld to organize his frenzied schedule. He has ambitious plans for this PDA: It will store addresses, remind him of gigs, and, with an add-on keyboard, let him take class notes—2 to 3 hours' worth a day "I don't want to invest in a laptop just for that," he says.
