摘要

We developed a finite element model representative of a pregnant woman in the 50th percentile at 28 weeks of amenorrhoea in a sitting position. This model was used to perform simulations of rigid bar abdominal impact tests. The results of these simulations (with and without a foetus) highlighted the influence of a foetus on the abdominal response of a pregnant woman. Indeed, the presence of a foetus significantly changed the behaviour of the abdomen for simulations at a high level of deflection. This observation allowed us to assume that the equal-stress,equal-velocity scaling method is inappropriate to obtain the response of the abdominal wall of a pregnant woman when the level of deflection is high. This assumption suggests that it is necessary to develop new experimental tests with PMHS and physical model of gravid uterus at a high level of deflection in order to confirm the role of the foetus and to obtain experimental corridors specific to a pregnant woman. This type of corridors will be useful to validate future models of pregnant women.
