As it was expected, the cross slope significantly increases the loads sustained by the musculo-skeletal system, regarding how much it increases the handrim power (Pur). Besides, differences in time courses for the uphill handrim power reflect the difficulties in maintaining the line of progression. Hence, a specific technical training to cross-slope propulsion during the rehabilitation process could be beneficial to reduce musculo-skeletal injuries. The implementation of a specific device on the MWC to avoid the rolling down effect on cross slope should also be greatly beneficial.
