摘要

CO2 electrolysis was carried out by using flat-tube solid oxide electrolysis cells (SOECs) with double-sided air electrodes. Redox cycles were employed to study the mechanical and performance stabilities. The cell was cycled 10 times and then the electrolysis was performed at a current density of - 0.33 A/cm(2) for 50 hat 750 degrees C. The results demonstrate that the unique SOEC structure leads to a stable performance for the electrolysis of pure CO2, reaching electrolysis efficiencies 30%. Compared to conventional cells, the redox performance of the cell is remarkably enhanced.
