COMPUTER SYNTHESIS AND STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF THE DISTRIBUTION OF STRUCTURAL CHARACTERISTICS OF GRANULAR COMPOSITE MATERIALS

An algorithm of computer modeling of the microstructure of granular composite materials is pre sented. The results of computer synthesis of the microstructures of granular composites with a different number of structural elements (grains) are given. The microstructures obtained differ from one another by average sizes of grains and by their distribution law. Using the shear-scale invariant criterion, the laws of the size distribution of grains have been tested. The strength of the criterion at different alternatives is analyzed by the method of statistical modeling. A com parative analysis of this criterion with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov ones and with the chi-sauare criterion is given. The results of numerical simulation of the processes of deformation and de struction of granular composites are presented.
