The article "Anti-synchronization in two non-identical hyperchaotic systems with known or unknown parameters" was published in Communications in Nonlinear Science and Numerical Simulation [1]. In the article, active control and adaptive control were used to study anti-synchronization problem between hyperchaotic Rossler system and hyperchaotic Lorenz system with known or unknown parameters. Controllers and update laws of parameters were designed and Lyapunov stability theory was applied to prove the stability of the error dynamical system. Numerical simulations were performed to support the theoretical results. But a defect occurred in the design of update laws of parameters in Eq. (18) in [1].
