摘要

Introduction The publication of the details of the sexual and private lives of public figures continues to raise moral and legal arguments surrounding the conflict between the right to private life on the one hand, and press freedom and the public right to know on the other. This debate has been heightened in recent months with the granting of anonymity orders and 'super injunctions' to claimants who are intent not only on resisting publication of those details, but also of hiding their identities and the mere fact that they are seeking such orders.1
