AFS haulage moves in on andover assets

Afs haulage has taken on some of the assets of failed Andover Transport (CM 14 February), as well as its Palletways work. MD Andrew Seagrave told CM that it had bought some of And-over's customers along with the SO postcode for Palletways, which was previously covered by the failed company. AFS, based in Hampshire, is licenced to run up to 55 vehicles out of sites in Southampton and Eastleigh. It has also taken on five members of staff from Andover, including four drivers. Dorset-based AET Transport had been looking after the SO postcode for Palletways following Andover's administration before the recent sale.
