摘要

Food packaging company Primopost has been fined £30,000 after an employee suffered severe leg injuries when he was struck by a forklift truck. In a prosecution brought by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), High Peak Magistrates' Court was told that Michael Booth, 42, had just given some cleaning materials to a colleague working on a machine when the incident happened at the firm's factory in Staden Park, Buxton, in November 2012. As he stepped backwards to turn around, he was hit by a forklift truck carrying a large reel of printed film.
