Optimism returns to industry

I'm writing this from the CV Show, it's the opening morning, and there's a real buzz in the NEC. I sense a genuine air of optimism, presumably triggered by the economy's recovery and helped by the realisation that Euro-6 isn't the devil incarnate. And this air of optimism is reflected in the latest Trucking Britain figures (see next week's issue). The optimism index is sitting at a healthy 76, which is the highest score since last December and compares with just 44 for the same period last year.
