New Ford Van Range to Meet All Needs

With the introduction on April 2 this year of its D range of goods vehicles, the Ford Motor Co. Ltd. brushed aside with one sweeping blow most of its existing Thames range of commercial vehicles and put in its place one of the most comprehensive ranges ever to be offered to the transport industry. Today (October 8), in announcing the introduction of a range of vans and van-based models, to be known as the Ford Transit, the company again discontinues an existing range-the Thames 10/12 cwt. and 15 cwt. models and replaces it with six basic designs which can be supplied in 44 different versions.
