Connect group has continued to enjoy growth in the first half of its trading year driven by its acquisition of Tuffnells Parcel Express in 2014. Revenue was up 4% for the six months to 29 February 2016 to £948m (2015:£910m) and pre-tax profit rose 36%, from £14.1m to £19.2m. Connect attributed the strong financial performances from Tuffnells and its media business to the growth.
