As complaints about Internet scams continue to rise, the FBI in America says it has seen a dramatic increase in the past four months involving new variations and combinations of frauds. In fact, it says there are so many it will not even investigate them unless they involve hundreds of thousands of dollars. Furthermore, most of these scams originate outside the United States, and the FBI doesn't have the jurisdiction to chase con artists in other countries.
