Environmental issues are receiving increasing attention today at rarge in all human activities especially In chemicals manufacture and research. Dyestuffs-producing and dyestuffs-user sectors are the ones more concerned in this and are engaged in terms of growing research inputs, for the simple reason that dyestuff chemists and technologists strived in the past to prepare an array of coloured molecules - by deliberate planning or serendipitously -to enrich the range of artificial colourants. The new dimensions of research in colored molecules encompass: 1. The development of green technology for the existing dyestuff ranges. 2. The design of green chemicals as safer dyestuff entities. 3. The development of green technology for green dyestuffs.
