SDC Event: To sir with love - students impress with acumen

By and large industry executives, academia and consultants are invited to deliver lectures and share their experiences in conferences and seminars. However, to encourage talent and tap the potential of students, SDC Mumbai Region, in conjunction with the Department of Fibres and Textile Processing Technology, provided opportunity for the taught in the presence of their teachers to turn mutual learning into a genuine two-way process. Accordingly, the students made audiovisual presentations for their peers and the textile fraternity on 16th September 2005 at the old auditorium of UICT. Following the talks, they fielded the questions with suitable answers. The Professors concerned are to be congratulated for recognizing and unleashing the talent potential in the students, bringing them to the fore through such programs to enable them shape up and lead their generation.
