International Exhibition of Finishing and Knitting Machinery: Milan 2005

Ikme 2005 was held in Milan, Italy during November 18-22, 2005 presenting the most innovative machinery in the textile chain within a dedicated area called EMP -Excellence Meeting Point, promoted by ACIMIT (Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers), supported by CEMATEX and organized by FIERA MILANO International. Its concept was that "machines must be played also by their products' and its themes included seamless garments, protection and comfort, lightness/elasticity, appearance and functionality. Areas covered included innovations in knitting and technical textiles with focus on plasma processes, nanotechnologies and novel methods of production and uses of coated and laminated products.
