Cotton textile exports reach export level of 50,000 crs

The exports of Cotton Textiles comprising of Cotton Yarn, Fabrics and made-ups including Handloom have reached a level of US % 8833 million as compared to US $ 7398 million during the fiscal year 2011-12 marking a growth of 19.39 per cent in Dollar terms over the previous year. In Rupee terms, we have reached an export level of Rs 50,000 Crores - a matter of personal satisfaction for me, informed Mr. Amit Ruparelia, Chairman, Texprocil, in Mumbai.
