摘要

The photocatalytic degradation of CI Acid Green 25 and CI Acid Red 88 in aqueous suspensions of titanium dioxide has been investigated by monitoring the depletion of the total organic carbon content as a function of irradiation time under a variety of conditions. The degradation rates were found to be strongly influenced by pH, catalyst concentration, substrate concentration and different titanium dioxide powders. The degradation of CI Acid Red 88 was found to occur faster than that of CI Acid Green 25. The degradation products were analysed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and probable pathways for the formation of products are proposed.
