It's just a sled: Navigating the liminal

Before we get started, I want to note that this is my first column in College & Undergraduate Libraries, and it's likely to be my most personal. This is not to say that I won't address issues that are of personal interest to me, but this is the most about my situation. Please bear with me; I promise I won't always be this self-absorbed. This column does get around to libraries. For the sake of background: I'm a midcareer librarian with experience ranging from cataloging to serials to technical services to digital pedagogy; I finished a second master's in English last year while starting a graduate certificate in digital humanities (DH); I'm currently the Head of Collection Services at Washington and Lee University. I have a lot of interests and questions I hope to explore in this space.
