Fighting fake news: Inspiring critical thinking with memorable learning experiences

It is very common in academic librarianship to have trouble recruiting students to attend events outside of class, and these programs were no different. Despite this challenge, we plan to continue to build our library's programming and to reach out to students about this important topic. Even though we took great care to plan the events as neutrally as possible, some might consider a few of the activities as biased. Regarding the podcasts, there were substantial difficulties finding quality shows from one side of the political spectrum.
