This and other LaSalle ads from The Saturday Evening Post were illustrated by noted artist Steven Doha-nos, who also completed more than 300 Post covers throughout the years. In fact, the pipe-smoking man under the wide-brimmed hat in this western scene was the artist himself, drawn in self-portrait.
