It speaks well of Pontiac design and quality that Raul Shimizu drives the 1942 Pontiac Streamliner sedan coupe seen here two or three times a week in Los Angeles-area traffic and the car has never let him down. Mr. Shimizu, of San Fernando, California, restored his 70-year-old car with new old-stock (NOS) parts wherever possible. Even the engine has NOS spark plugs and ignition wiring.
