Fair Game: Building Chevys at Chicago's Big Bash

During the warmer months of 1933 and 1934, they came to Chicago by automobile, train, boat, airplane, horse-drawn conveyance, and-not infrequently-by thumb to see "the fair." Nearly 40 million people attended the "Century of Progress International Exposition" world's fairs held along the shores of Lake Michigan during those two years. Many of them took in the popular and memorable Chevrolet-Fisher Manufacturing Exhibit, incorporated into the General Motors exhibit.
