Considering that it was long ago deemed wise to establish a separate General Motors company for Canada, it will probably seem logical that there was a Canadian Motorama, too.rnBeginning in 1954, GM of Canada produced a series of Motoramas that were comparable to those held in the U.S. Held on the grounds of the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) in Toronto (your author has not been able to determine if this was the only stop for the Canadian Motoramas), they featured stage shows and appearances by famous personalities. However, unlike their Yankee counterparts, they continued without interruption through 1961.rnCanadian Motoramas featured the newest production models along with one-year-old dream cars, such as the 1954 Firebird I gas-turbine car, which was shown at the '55 event.
