What's new with you?" How many conversations do you think you've had in your litetime that began thai way, followed by a recitation ol events that were happy, sad, or surprising? Well, we're no different. Here are a tew things that have been on our minds at Colleclible Automobile recently: One of our regular contributors, Terry Boyce (whose story on the first straight-eight Buicks starts on page 24), has won the Carl Ben/ Award from the Society of Automotive Historians (SAH) for an article that appeared on these pages. His piece entitled "1951 Buick XP-300: Mr. Chayne Builds His Dream Car" from the April 2010 issue was deemed to be the best automotive history article published in a magazine for the year. The presentation was made last October 7 at the SAH's annual awards dinner in Hershey, Pennsylvania. It was the seventh C Nfeature to win the society's best-article award since 2000, and it also earned an International Automotive Media Awards gold medallion earlier in 2011.
