1949 Studebaker 2R10 Pickup: A Friend For Life

Wayne Olson of Cambridge, Illinois, has known the 1949 Studebaker 2R10 ¾-ton pickup seen here since it was new and he was only 10 years old. The truck was purchased by Alvin Johnson, a landlord and family friend, to haul coal. Johnson would go to town in the truck to play cards and return with a load of coal for his furnace.
