Using Distributed Energy Resources: A How-to Guide for Federal Facility Managers

This article was derived from the U.S. DOE, Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) guide of the same name by the editor-in-chief. This "how-to guide" was designed to define distributed energy resources (DER) and to assist federal facility and energy managers in assessing DER at their facilities. Every attempt has been made to be true to the original document; however, some changes have been made to fit the style of this journal.
