Repligen completes expansion of Waltham manufacturing facility

Repligen, a US-based supplier of consumables used in the manufacture of biologies, has completed a 9,000ft~2 (approximately 840m~2) expansion of its manufacturing facilities at its Walmam, MA headquarters to meet growth in demand for its bioprocessing products and to ensure that the quality, capacity and support needs of its customers continue to be met. A dedicated production suite more than doubles capacity for the company's OPUS pre-packed chromatography columns, with cleanrooms built to ISO 7 specifications providing an appropriately controlled environment to satisfy the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards of the company's biopharmaceutical customers.
