Blue Line, a Danish cleanroom technology designer, has pioneered a line of cleanroom tablets. Aerospace polymer is used to make the tablet light. In addition, the tablet is made out of a single piece of polymer to eliminate any creases and has fan-less cooling, all vents and buttons removed, and utilises a flush magnetic connector for charging and USB connectivity, to maintain cleanliness. Accordingly, tablets must be sensitive enough to be used without removing PPE but not sensitive enough to react to inputs as light as cleaning sprays. Blue Line's cleanroom tablets utilise "projected capacitive multi-touch" technology in their screens so they can be used while wearing up to 3 layers of gloves.
