CLEAN ENERGY TO SUPPLY REPUBLIC REFUSE FLEET IN IDAHO

Republic Services, Inc., the waste and recycling col-lection services contractor for the city of Boise, Idaho, has awarded Clean Energy Fuels Corporation a contract to build and operate a compressed natural gas (CNG) time-fill station and provide fuel for Republic's planned deployment of a new CNG refuse truck fleet. Republic, the second largest solid waste management firm in the United States (U.S.), has an exclusive contract with Boise to provide all solid waste and recycling services to more than 68,000 residential and commercial customers in the metropolitan area.
