PEUGEOT DISPLAYS HYBRID4 AT PARIS MOTOR SHOW

The French automaker Peugeot, part of the PSA Peugeot Citroen Group, displayed the world's first diesel fueled full hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) vehicle, the 3008 HYbrid4, at the Paris Motor Show in October. Peugeot is planning to build the passenger crossover sedan in Sochaux and Mulhouse, France, and to begin marketing in the spring of 2011 in Europe. The HYbrid4 is equipped with a 2.0 liter Euro 5 HDi FAP120 kilowatt (kW) diesel engine. The engine has a maximum power of 147 kW or 200 brake horsepower. It develops a maximum power of 120 kW at 3,750 revolutions per minute (rpm) and a maximum torque of 300 Newton meters (Nm) at 1,580 rpm.
