FORD ANNOUNCES NEW FOCUS 1.0 LITER ECOBOOST FAMILY CAR IN EUROPE

Ford Motor Company has unveiled a new version of the Focus 1,0 liter EcoBoost that will be the first gasoline powered family car in Europe to offer carbon dioxide (CO_2) emissions under 100 grams per kilometer (km). Its class leading fuel efficiency of 4.3 liters of gasoline per 100 km, or 67.5 miles per gallon, emits just 99 grams of CO_2 per km. Equipped with a specially calibrated 100 PS version of Ford's engine, the new Focus EcoBoost also will feature Ford ECOnetic Technology, ultralow rolling resistance tires, unique aerodynamics under the car and revised gearing. The latest Focus Ecoboost will go on sale in Europe early next year.
