DOE AND EPA RELEASE FUEL ECONOMY GUIDE TO 2013 U.S. VEHICLE MODELS

The United States (U.S.) Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Energy (DOE) have released the 2013 Fuel Economy Guide, giving consumers comprehensive information to help them choose vehicles to purchase that are fuel efficient and that emit low levels of greenhouse gases. The 2013 models include efficient and low emission vehicles in a variety of classes and sizes, and include a growing list of hybrid electric vehicles and the increasing number of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and battery electric vehicles (BEVs).
