The adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) has accelerated as policymakers across the globe pass regulations to reduce emissions of air pollutants, according to the latest analysis by JATO Dynamics, a market analysis firm based in London, the United Kingdom (UK). The first 9 months of 2017 represented a turning point in the adoption of EVs, says the report, with sales in key regions increasing significantly. Sales rose 127 percent in China, 42 percent in Europe, 24 percent in Japan and Korea, and 21 percent in North America.
