ITS STUDY ENVISONS THREE TRANSPORTATION REVOLUTIONS BY 2050

Three transportation revolutions are in sight, whichrncould help reduce traffic, improve livability, eventuallyrnsave trillions of dollars each year and reducernurban transportation carbon dioxide (CO2) emissionsrnby 80 percent or more worldwide by 2050.rnThese are among the principal findings of a recentrnreport from the Institute of Transportation Studiesrn(ITS) at the University of California, Davis, andrnthe New York City based nonprofit Institute forrnTransportation & Development Policy.
