Doppstadt (UK) Ltd, the Glasgow-based supplier of high performance recycling machinery, has seen record sales of its high speed AK range of shredders in the last six months. According to sales director George Kehoe, the company's success marks a growing interest in wood recycling across the UK. Since Easter, the company has supplied high speed shredders to a number of leading recyclers, including an AK 430 to Wastecycle in Nottingham to replace a 420 model, and two machines, an AK 430 and an AK 600, to Tracey Timber in Glasgow, bringing up to ten the total number of shredders supplied to Scotland's largest wood recycler. Larner Pallets in Enfield also purchased an AK 430 in June and have now taken delivery of a secondhand 420 model.
