摘要

Where there's muck there's brass, or so the saying goes, and according to Channel 4's Dispatches: Britain's Waste, where criminals are involved there are large sums of money to be made. Reporter Simon Barnes went undercover with a secret camera tracking down some shocking criminal activity involving illegal waste disposal. Posing as a waste contractor, Barnes first attempted to dump some fridges at the premises of London Skips, and was advised to "dump them by the road somewhere," Neasden shopping centre beng singled out as a favourite spot. London Skips disputed the allegations and said it will investigate the incidents reported in the programme, but this was mild in comparison to some of the other practices uncovered by Barnes.
