At the same event that saw Barry Dennis undergo his first presidential duties, Terry March also performed his final task, to present the three newly elected fellows of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management with their fellowships. All familiar faces in the industry, the new fellows are, left to right: Trevor Jones, who has recently retired from his role as operations and waste strategy manager at North Ayrshire Council and is a General Councillor for CIWM Scotland; CIWM chief executive Steve Lee; and Mark Heesom, a former Republic of Ireland Centre Secretary and now general manager of Veolia Environmental Services in Birmingham.
