And the scheme is now well on its way to providing a blueprint which could revolutionise the recycling of household waste nationally and internationally.rnIf successful it is expected to make a massive contribution to environmental protection by saving energy, conserving natural resources, defending the ozone layer and reducing pollution.rnTor six weeks 100 households in Leeds were aslced to sort out their domestic refuse into separate containers, rather than the traditional single dustbin. The aim was to establish how much domestic waste could be salvaged and recycled.
