Wales' Recycling Rate Hits 48 Percent

A new report shows that during 2011/12, 48 percent of municipal waste was recycled or composted in Wales, a four percentage point increase on 2010/11's figure of 44 percent. The figures suggest Wales is on track to reach its statutory target of 52 percent.
