Didn't we tell you in the last issue that Doosan was the brand to watch when it comes to gaining market share in for the waste and recycling sector? Well recently, the Doosan European operation -based in Belgium - organised an impressive customer/dealer/press event in the Czech Republic. A long way to go to drive an excavator? Not according to Malcolm! It seems the Czechs have a more sensible view of health and safety, making it possible to work all day on a series of machines in a real working environment without (a) a three-day induction course on the rather obvious side-effects of gravity and (b) without a company minder getting under his feet. Or wheels even.
