Aiming to secure a sector deal for the resources and waste sector with BEIS by 2020, the Resource Council had a quiet launch in the early weeks of 2019. The council and its working groups have been anything but quiet in the intervening four months, however, with a series of roundtables, technical workshops, online dialogue and deep-dive thinking to help broaden understanding of what the sector might ask for - and what it should want in return - from government.
